The keto diet brussels sprouts recipe that you are about to read is made of simple ingredients that you probably have in the kitchen. Since ketogenic diet is a bit specific and there are recipes everywhere, it is recommended to try all kinds of dishes so that you do not eat the same food all the time.

  • 500 gr raw brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
  • 300 gr grated parmesan
  • Salt

  1. Cut the brussels sprouts into two pieces with a knife and put them in a pan. If two pieces are too big for you, you can cut them in three of four – whatever works best for you.
  2. Add the olive oil and lemon juice on top of each piece making sure that each piece gets covered. To make sure that each piece got enough from the oil and juice, you can put all the pieces of brussels sprouts, lemon juice and olive oil into a bowl and mix them with a big spoon for a couple of minutes.
  3. Then take each piece out of the bowl and put it in a pan. Once you are done, put parmesan on top of each piece, add salt according to your preferences and put them in the oven.
  4. Bake for about 20 – 30 minutes until they are cooked. You will know that they are perfectly cooked when they become crispy and start changing their color. The more you bake them, the crispier they will become. Again, the baking should be done according to your preferences.
