Ingredients


  • 500 grams of ground turkey 
  • 2 cups of boiled cauliflowers 
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • ½ red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 450 mL of coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of salt, thyme, black pepper, garlic powder, and celery salt


Instructions


Put the coconut oil into a large pot and let it heat. While the oil is getting hot, mince the garlic and the onion. When the oil is hot enough, add the minced onion and garlic until it becomes glassy. Add the ground turkey. Using the spatula, stir, and break it up until it is crumbled. When you get the texture you desire, add the boiled cauliflowers and season properly. 


When the meat gets that brown color, add the coconut milk to your dish. Once it starts to simmer, reduce the heat for the next 8 minutes while stirring constantly.


At this point, your dish can be served. The good thing is that you can use this as a dip. In that case, reduce the heat and wait until it is thick. Heat your pan to a medium-high. If you don’t have a nonstick pan, make sure that you put a cooking oil of your choice. For this particular recipe, we recommend you to use sesame oil. It works the best with the ingredients. 


Cooking time depends on your pan and the temperature. Usually, you will cook the meatballs for about 5 minutes, until they are cooked thoroughly. They should be brown and glassy on the outside.
