How To Make A Keto Ketchup From The Comfort Of Your Home

Homemade Keto Friendly Ketchup


  • 6 kg of tomatoes
  • 20 red peppers
  • Chopped parsley
  • 1 celery
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 3 onions
  • Sweetener
  • 200 ml of olive oil
  • 200 ml of water
  • 1 tbsp of mustard


This is a recipe for the most delicious keto friendly ketchup. Easy to prepare, and you can use it as an addition to many dishes.

  1. In a deep bowl, put all the pieces of all the above ingredients. Onions and garlic should only be cut into pieces. Make sure to chop the vegetables and let it boil on low heat.
  2. When the vegetables are softened, the bowl is pulled out of the fire and allowed to cool slightly so that it can be mixed through a press or a grinding machine.
  3. Then, the mixed or blended vegetables are returned to the stove. Add the sweetener, salt, oil and water. Let it boil for about 30 minutes and remove it from the stove.
  4. Add the mustard and then stir well. This hot mixture is collected in small bottles.

The bottles must be well closed. This so-called homemade ketchup on keto diet, use it as an additive in pasta, in addition to stews or soups. 

Simple Homemade Recipe 


  • 10 kg of ripe red tomatoes
  • 20 pieces of red peppers 
  • 200 ml of wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp of oregano
  • 10 petals of Laurel 
  • 3-4 tbsp of salt
  • Sweetener
  • Black pepper in grains


  1. Tomatoes are peeled off and cut into small pieces, so they pass through a ketchup machine, i.e., which removes peels and seeds. The peppers are put into water to be cooked, so they pass through the machine.
  2. Put the tomatoes in a bowl and let it boil for 1 hour to evaporate the liquid, then add the peppers. In the bowl mix the vinegar, let one part of the tomatoes on fire (about 2 cups), and cool the other part aside, then mix the two parts.
  3. Add salt, sugar, spices to the tomato mixture and, finally, start with stirring. From this moment it should constantly be mixed in the ketchup container for about 40-45 mins until it reaches a density and becomes as thick as yogurt.
  4. Put it in hot jars, covered with a towel so it can gradually cool until the next day.
